I drove some off topic dirt roads lately

I drove the coast road to San Evaristo, then out to Mx 1 over the mountain pass.

A little further north, I took the back road to Bahia de Los Angeles through El Arco, then north from the San Francisquito junction.

There was a whole lot of washboard causing my Trooper go lib-lib-lib-lib, then long stretches of maga silt and sand ruts to slog through. I can't count the independent humps and dips that popped up (usually on the wrong side of the road) that caused me to bottom out!

Sorry, things were slow on the main forum, so I visited Off Topic this morning. I will start over after I calm down a bit.

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!

Speaking of road conditions, I drove north last week from BCS, and there are some monster, deep potholes on highway 1. All along it, here and there. I hit one with the right front tire and pulled over to check things out. No damage.
